Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Our Commitment
Nation.Tattoo is committed to ensuring that the platform is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
Current Status
We are actively working toward WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Ongoing efforts include:
- Sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the interface
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
- Alt text for all non-decorative images
- Focus indicators on interactive elements
- Form labels and error messages accessible by assistive technology
- Avoiding content that flashes more than 3 times per second
Known Limitations
Some areas of the platform are still being improved for accessibility:
- Some user-uploaded images may not have alt text provided by the uploader
- Complex interactive maps and canvas-based elements may have limited screen reader support
- Third-party embeds (including Stripe checkout) are governed by their own accessibility policies
Assistive Technologies
Nation.Tattoo has been tested with the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA screen reader (Windows)
- VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
- Chrome and Firefox with keyboard-only navigation
