About This Convention

NIX, formerly Northern Ink Xposure, is Toronto's long-running tattoo convention, with the 2027 event billed as its 27th edition. It takes place over three days at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street West. The organiser states that more than 500 national and international tattoo artists attend. The weekend programme includes judged tattoo contests, paid artist seminars, the Dead Things art show with a silent auction supporting a tattoo history book, and stage entertainment such as lion dancers and taiko drummers.
