Review Policy

Our Standard
Reviews on Nation.Tattoo must be authentic, first-hand accounts of real experiences with the artist or studio being reviewed. We do not allow fake reviews of any kind.
What Makes a Valid Review
- Based on a real booking or service experience with the specific artist or studio
- Written by the actual client, not a friend, family member, or associate
- Not incentivized by compensation, discount, or free service
- Describes the actual experience honestly, whether positive or negative
Prohibited Reviews
- Reviews posted by the artist, studio owner, or their staff about their own business
- Reviews posted in exchange for compensation (discounts, free work, gifts)
- Reviews intended to harm a competitor without a genuine experience
- Duplicate reviews or reviews from multiple accounts for the same experience
- Reviews containing hate speech, slurs, or personal threats
- Reviews disclosing personal information about the artist or client
Artist Responses
Artists and studio owners may respond publicly to reviews. Responses must be professional and factual. Responses that threaten, harass, or defame the reviewer will be removed and may result in account action.
Disputing a Review
If you believe a review about your profile is fraudulent or violates this policy, you may flag it for admin review from your dashboard. Nation.Tattoo will investigate and remove reviews that violate this policy, typically within 5 business days.
We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative. Negative reviews that represent genuine client experiences will remain.
Moderation
All reviews are subject to admin moderation before publication. Reviews go live after a short review period. Nation.Tattoo reserves the right to remove any review that violates this policy or our Community Guidelines.
